TRAINING and CERTIFICATION
Dannelle LeBlanc, Certified Senior Advisor
Founder and President, Golden Transitions LLC
Golden Transitions was founded in honor of Dannelle's mother, Geneveve Golden Banks, who passed unexpectedly in 2015. Her legacy thrives from a lifetime of love and dedication to family, social work, and care for elders at home and in her community.
Like many other adult children in the “sandwich generation”, Dannelle was raising a family with her husband and working while also caring for her father-in-law with Parkinson’s disease. As the disease advanced, he suffered a series of health crises that required difficult and often overwhelming decisions.
Through these personal experiences Dannelle realized the need for more accessible support for older adults and their families during critical times of transition.
With 20+ years in health care, patient support, marketing, and operational management, Dannelle combined her personal and professional experiences to help respond to the needs of family caregivers. As a member of NASMM (National Association of Senior Move Managers) and the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, she joined a community of others concerned about the challenges of aging and transitional care.
Her primary vision is to provide support for people who care for a family member throughout a caregiving experience. As a Certified Caregiver Consultant and Educator, Dannelle founded CareGiver Transitions, which offers practical, purposeful resources and support to family caregivers.
